Written Reports
Street Works Management will write reports on any engineering topic; this includes reports for council members at cabinet and committees. There are different types of report on offer, short summaries or in-depth reports.
Short summaries will include, research questionnaire, team assessment, 2 - 3 page write up with a follow up to ensure that the services have been welcomed.
In-depth reports will include a personal visit, thorough Research into the chosen subject from your point of view, Individual staff assessments, written in-depth report (7-20+pages), re-visit with follow up team talks, set up new arrangement and review after 6 months.
Engineering subjects will be discussed and written for each of you on an individual basis; however you may wish to choose one of the following example topics:
- Traffic Management Act 2004 – any individual aspect
- New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 - any individual aspect
- Highway Law – general or specific topic
- Drainage
- History of ......(any of the named topics)
- NRSWA / TMA - defined Codes of Practice.
